The WIP Arts & Technology Festival returns in Summer 2026 with a renewed vision and an expanded international outlook. As the culmination of a full year of artistic research and cross-disciplinary experimentation developed through WIP LAB: Invisible Waters, the festival will bring to the forefront the prototypes, installations, performances, workshops, and public programmes that have been evolving across Cyprus since autumn 2025. Throughout this two-year cycle, WIP has fostered collaborations between artists, scientists, designers, students, and local communities—supporting projects that investigate environmental challenges, technological ecologies, material transformations, and new modes of storytelling.

In 2026, these works come together in a major multi-site event that invites audiences to experience the creative processes usually hidden from view: how ideas are tested, reshaped, questioned, and transformed into new forms of expression. The festival will highlight the diverse outcomes of residencies, field explorations, open studios, communal dinners, and experimental laboratories, offering a rare insight into the intersections of creative practice, scientific thinking, and social engagement.
