Chasing The Light •

The streets hum with hate, shadows overwhelm tongues,
Scary nights say, “There is no good without the bad.”
Problems like hurricane’s,
But I’m planting flowers in a sidewalk of doubt,
They say negativity sells, it makes the cash,
But I’m here speaking healing, not the venom in my path,
My heart’s radio, I’m tuning to the channel to the sun,
Even when the clouds roll in, I’m looking for where they’ve run.

Because love’s a spark in the static, a flame in the rain,
Optimism’s my armor, I wear it without strain,
God’s got a plan, and I’m trusting the script,
Even when the storms scream, I’m holding tight to the light.

I’m searching for the sunshine, I’m reaching for the sky,
Positivity doesn’t shout, but it teaches you to fly,
Through the tears and the trenches, I’ll always choose to shine,
Because the world’s a darker place without a will to climb,

I’m searching for the light…

Negativity’s a brand that I won’t sell, no,
I’ll write about the joy that makes my soul glow,
Laugh until your sides ache, let the soundtrack play,
Joy is not a trend,it’s a choice, and I’m here to stay,
Prayers rise like balloons, peace in the chaos,
Self-love’s the rhythm when the world’s in a fracas,
Fell in love with God’s grace,
Loving life’s the revolution, and I’m in the right place.

Self-love’s the anthem that my heart beats to,
I fell in love not just with her, but the view,
The way the morning sun looks golden, the way the stars align so true,
Life’s a canvas, stained but still vivid.

So pray for positivity when the night feels long,
Positivity’s a marathon, not a sad song,
I feel I can move the darkness with my pen,
I’m building a house of love and peace with the bricks from within.

Question Mark •

I’m just a scribe in a maze of my mind,
Trying to ink truths on the scroll of time,
They say knowledge is power, but can I carry the weight,
Because every answer feels like another debt,
I walk around with a question mark on my chest,
A twisted wire brain, not a compass, just stress,
Too much light burns, staying shaded is key,
Because if I knew it all, I’d suffocate the mystery.

So, what’s the right direction? Is it even a road?,
I’m a traveler lost in a desert of doubt,
They say “fake it till you make it,” but that’s a trap,
A mirror of pride, and I’m done playing with that map,
I don’t want to be the guide in a foggy land,
Because every wrong move could cost someone their entire hand,
Life’s a riddle boxed mess, a jigsaw cut in the dark,
But I’m okay with the gaps, who is really smart?,
Let the unknown be sacred, let the void have its say,
Because the truth is, we’re all just learning as we pray.

They say the night is darkest before the dawn breaks,
But maybe the night is the point, not the peaks we fake,
We’re all just souls on a merry-go-round of “why?”,
So light your match, I’ll light mine, nobody truths have to die,
But we might just learn to ask how to fly.

So here’s to the questions, the blanks in the page,
To the fear of the lie, and the grace of the rage,
If I can hold my inner world in my palm, I’ll let it spin,
Because the right direction’s just a shadow that’s within.

Self Love•

This isn’t a brag‑fest, it’s a love‑fest,
A reminder that the biggest motivation you need is the one that comes from inside,

I love me, I’m steady, I’m feeling the glow,
Self‑respect in my chest, watch the confidence grow,
Not above, not below just right where I stand,
Blessed by my own vibe, I’m my biggest fan.

I’m a mirror, I’m a lighthouse, shining on my own shore,
No ego trip, just self‑care, that’s the core of the score,
I’m not saying “I’m better,” that’s a narrow minded view,
I’m saying “I’m whole,” every piece of me I love through and through.

From sunrise to moonrise, I’m filled with praise,
You work hard, you’re worthy of the raise.
When the world throws shade, I’m the sun on my skin,
Self‑love’s the armor, let the battle begin.

I don’t compare, I don’t diminish, I just elevate,
Mind, body, soul, they all celebrate,
It’s not arrogance, it’s a blessing in disguise,
A healthy addiction, no need for a lie.

I’m the coach, the cheer squad, and the MVP,
Every day I write my own victory.

When doubts creep in, I flip the script, “ You’re enough!”
I’m the captain of my ship, steering smooth through the rough,
I’m the echo in the hallway, “You’re priceless, you’re kind.”

I set the bar high, but not out of reach,
I’m the teacher and the pupil, the lesson I preach,
Self‑talk that lifts, not the one that drags,
My mindset’s a garden, I water it with pride,
Weed out the hate, let the good vibes reside,
Mindful breathing, heartbeats sync to the beat,
Body’s a temple, positivity on repeat.

Don’t think you’re a king, don’t think you’re a pawn,
You’re the whole chessboard from dusk until dawn,
Balance the scales, stay centered, stay true,
Self‑love isn’t a crime, it’s a breakthrough.

Remember: loving yourself isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity,
It’s the foundation for every dream you chase, every step you take,
So keep the love loud, keep it real, and let the world hear the echo: I love myself, and that’s a blessing.

The Goal

Life’s a racing river and I’m watching it fall,
Right past the dock of my youth, it’s a sobering view,
Every season I wasted, every chapter asking, “Who?
Are you going to be when the moments run out?”,
I was stuck in the mirror, full of fear and of doubt,
But I looked past the surface, past the pride and the rage,
Saw a man in the making, turning a fresh new page,
I love who I am, that foundation is stone,
But the house needs some work, I can’t do it alone,
Time is ticking loudly, a whisper, a shout,
The future is calling, and there’s no better time than now.

I’m working on the best version of myself, the greatest edition,
I have nothing to prove, I’m on my own mission,
First I have to please God, make my spirit align,
Then I’ll be happy with myself, and that’s the bottom line,
They can watch me evolve, they can watch me ascend,
This change is for my soul, for my Maker, and then for me within.

What is wealth? If your spirit is broken?,
True wealth is a promise, a seed that is planted,
An unbreakable faith,
Air in the struggle, light in the dark,
It’s the reassurance of heaven, a permanent mark,
It’s not in a bank account, it’s not in a safe,
It’s the blessed assurance I’ve been given by grace,
So let them count their money, I’m counting my blessings,
Every single sunrise is a new session.

So when they ask me what I’m chasing, what’s the goal I’m after?,
I tell them it’s not gold, it’s not laughter, it’s not plaster
On the walls of a mansion that’ll rust and decay,
It’s a long, happy, blessed life, living in God’s way,
It’s a soul that’s at peace when the world starts to crumble,
A rock of salvation, when everyone else fumbles,
That is the fortune, the treasure, the prize
Reflected in my Father’s love, right there in my eyes.

The best version of me…
The time is now…
No better time…
For God… and then for me…
A long… happy… blessed life.
Then Peace…

A Blessing Woven Light••

Be blessed — as morning light adorns the hill,
As quiet grace descends where shadows mend;
May every step you take be calm and still,
And every ending gently meet its start again.

Be happy — not in grand or fleeting ways,
But deep within, where true contentment grows;
In simple breaths, in golden-hued sunrays,
In knowing peace the quiet heart best knows.

Be filled with joy — a well that overflows,
Not tied to fortune, nor to skies of blue,
But born of kindness only spirit shows,
A song the soul remembers, clear and true.

Then spread the joy — like seeds upon the breeze,
Let laughter ripple through a stranger’s day;
One smile, one word, can stir the stillness, please —
A candle lit to gently light the way.

Spread positivity — a quiet flame
That warms the weary, lifts the burdened mind;
Turn bitter echoes gently into grace,
And let your presence be a hope designed.

Spread love — not loud, nor carved in stone or sign,
But in the glance that sees, the hand that holds,
In whispered strength when sorrow dares to climb,
In stories shared and hearts unsealed and bold.

I want all this for you — each breath, each flight,
Each moment wrapped in wonder, calm, and care;
May courage bloom within you, strong and bright,
And joy find home in all you see and share.

So may the heavens lean a little closer,
May angels hum your name in lullabies;
May every path be lit by gentlest Ossuary,
And blessings bloom like stars before your eyes.

May God bless you — in silence and in song,
In stillness and in motion, now, always.
With grace that flows, enduring, deep, and long —
Be loved. Be whole. Be radiant. Be amazed.

Oh Love

It’s the spark in the dark, the key to the door,
Not some facade, no, it’s real,
Love’s the anthem, the gospel—let me make it clear…

True love’s a test, no fairytale script,
It has layers like an onion, but it’s all worth the weep,
They say time’s a thief, but I’ve felt love steal more,
No clock can measure the moments we hold,
It’s simple as “Stay,” but complex as the stars,
A paradox pulse in the chambers of the heart.

Love is a fire, soft but it burns,
A language that speaks when your words hit the urns.
From the dirt to the divine, it’s the thread in the seams,
I love love—yes, I do—love’s the only premise,
If you think time’s got grit, wait on love to collide,
It’s the seed in the concrete, the crack in the stone,
Love is the question, the answer, the sign,
A mystery wrapped in a holy design.

When the world’s on rewind and you’re stuck in the loop,
It’s love that screams “Wake up!” and shows you the truth,
I’ve seen hatred crumble beneath love’s heavy hand,
Transformed strangers to kin, mended a land,
It’s the balm in the wound, the war in the peace,
A paradox path that only the brave can reach.

You don’t need a crown to be noble, no throne,
Love’s the revolution when the world feels alone,
It’s the risk you take when you leap off the map,
The only “forever” that time can’t snap.

Love’s the pulse in the void,it’s the cosmos in you.
From the first breath to the last, it’s the ride that we’re on,
Oh love you’re the dawn, the dusk, and the son,
I’ll never get tired, no, I’ll never get tired…
Because love’s the only thing that truly inspires.

Oh Time ••

Time is a powerful force, it turns pages,
In the blink of an eye, your life can change,
For better or worse, is the clock to blame?

You can ruin your life in seconds, it’s a fact,
One wrong move, one bad decision, that’s a wrap,
A few seconds of rage, a lifetime of pain,
You can’t take it back, the damage is done, the stain remains,
On your conscience, on your name, on your claim to fame,
Time doesn’t wait for anybody, it’s a moving train,
You can’t stop it, can’t slow it down, can’t rewind,
Make a mistake, and you’re left to deal with the crime

Time, time, it’s a blessing and a curse,
Heals all wounds, or so they traverse,
But I’m not convinced, I have my doubts,
Time’s a double-edged sword, it cuts both ways, no way out,
More valuable than gold, more precious than fame,
Time’s the one thing you can’t buy back, it’s the one thing that’s not the same

You can ruin someone else’s life in a few seconds too,
A careless word, a thoughtless move, the hurt is true,
The ripple effect, it spreads like a disease,
Leaving scars that never fully heal, just memories,
Of what could’ve been, of what should’ve been,
Time doesn’t heal all, that’s just a myth, a fantasy,
Some wounds run too deep, some pain’s too real

Sometimes it feels like a curse, like a weight on my chest,
The pressure’s mounting, the clock’s ticking, I’m stressed,
Every second counts, every minute’s a test,
Make the most of it, or you’ll be left with regrets,
But time’s also a blessing, a gift from above,
A chance to learn, to grow, to show and prove,
Your worth, your value, your place in the game,
Make the most of it, or you’ll be left with the blame

Time’s more valuable than anything you own,
Don’t waste it, don’t take it for granted, make it your throne,
Use it wisely, use it well, make every second count,
Because time’s the one thing you can’t get back

Now••

I’ve been thinking, trying to find my pace,
Not getting caught up in the future’s frantic chase,
Or dwellin’ on the past, with its regrets and pain,
I’m trying to stay present

I’m taking it one step at a time, no need to rush,
Focus on the moment, let the future hush,
I’m not worried about tomorrow, or what’s yet to come,
I’m just trying to be, where my feet are,
I’m learning to breathe, to let go of the stress,
Living life like it’s precious, no time to repress,
The beauty of the present, it’s where I reside,
No distractions, just the here and now, I’m going to thrive

I’m living in the moment, no time to waste,
Trying to soak it all in, like a sponge in a haste,
I’m wise enough to plan, but not get caught up
In the future’s uncertainty, or the past’s rough times,
I’m just trying to be in the here and now
Because I’ll never be this young again

I know I have to plan, for the days to come,
Make moves, take action, before the day is done,
But I won’t let the future, dictate my vibe,
I’ll stay grounded, like a tree, that’s rooted deep inside,
And I’ll learn from my mistakes, from the past,
But I won’t let the ghosts, of what’s been, forever last,
I’m forgiving myself, and moving on,
Because the present is a gift, that’s where I belong

Life’s a journey, not a destination,
I’m taking it one step at a time, with patience and education,
I’m growing, I’m learning, I’m evolving every day,
And I won’t let the present, slip away

So I’ll stay present, like a work of art,
A masterpiece, that’s still being crafted from the heart,
I’ll keep it real, keep it true, keep it me,
Living in the moment, blessed and free.

Say It••

My mind’s a maze, words are my escape,
I have a story to tell, and it’s time to create,
A world of thoughts, opinions, and experiences too,
I’ve got a lot on my chest, it’s time to express,
Many words, many thoughts, I’m trying to address,
The voices in my head, the voices that I’ve heard,
I’m trying to make sense of it all, to be heard,
I want to tell my story, your story too,
Weave a tale that’s real, that’s true,
I’m a wordsmith, crafting rhymes like a spell,
Hoping to inspire, to make a difference

When will I have said enough? Until my last word,
I’ll keep speaking my mind, though it’s sometimes blurred,
I know I have to watch what I say,
But I’ll keep on talking, come what may

Complaining, talking crazy, gets attention fast,
But it’s unwanted, and it’s bound not to last,
Negativity spreads like a disease,
I don’t want to be part of that, if you please,
I’ll speak uplifting, positive, and true,
That’s the attention I seek, that’s what I’ll do,
It may not be loud, it may not be bold
But it’s the right message, and it’s worth more than gold

Say what you have to say today, don’t delay,
Tomorrow might be too late, and the words won’t sway,
The moment’s now, the time is right,
Speak your truth, shine your light,
I’ll do the same, I’ll share my tale,
And maybe, just maybe, we’ll set sail
On a journey of self-discovery, of growth,
Where our words will be the catalyst, the truth we’ve sowed

My words are my legacy, my story to be told,
I’ll keep on speaking, until my last word is gold,
So listen up, don’t be afraid
Let’s tell our stories, and make a change.

Sinners ••

We all have our opinions, our judgments, our defects,
But before we point fingers, let’s take a step back,
We all have dirt on our hands, we all have a past to unpack

I’m a sinner, just like the rest,
I’ve done things I’m not proud of, put myself in a mess,
I have no right to look down on you,
Because when it comes to sin, we all have a few,
Maybe yours is hidden, maybe mine is on display,
But at the end of the day, we all got our own way,
Of messing up, of falling short, of losing our grip
And that’s when we should remember, we all sin, we all trip

Judgment’s a heavy weight, we all carry the load,
But before we cast our stones, let’s examine our own road,
We all have skeletons, we all have shame
Sin is sin, we all got the same

Some sins might seem bigger, some might seem small,
But in the eyes of the truth, they all stand tall,
We all have our struggles, our demons, our fights,
And when we judge each other, we’re just hiding from the light,
I’m not perfect, you’re not perfect, we all have our flaws,
But that doesn’t give us the right to judge each other’s laws,
We all have our own struggles, our own battles to fight,
And when we come together, we should be lifting each other up, not tearing each other down

Honesty’s the best policy, let’s keep it real,
We all have our secrets, our hidden deals,
But when we confess, when we own up to our mistakes,
That’s when we can start to heal, that’s when we can start to escape,
The weight of our judgments, the weight of our shame,
And start to walk in forgiveness, start to walk in his name

So next time you see someone, don’t be so quick to judge,
Remember your own story, remember your own grudge,
We all have our own struggles, our own battles to fight,
And when we come together, we should be lifting each other up, not tearing each other down
