We got to see SIX lobster trap trees!

One in Maine

Two in Scituate

One in Hull

One in Plymouth with a visit to Lobster Hut

One in Cohasset

We decorated the house and shed for Christmas!

Mom and I went to lunch to a beautifully decorated restaurant! Hopefully it’s becoming a tradition!

We had two bad wind storms.
I watched 33 Christmas movies!
Made two lasagnas, twenty two meatballs, twelve Italian sausages and eleven brajollas for a delicious Christmas and days of leftovers!
Christmas Day was very good with lots of great gifts, great food and lots of love
Until next year December

We lost my Aunt Alba. She was 91 years young and died in her sleep. My Mom is devastated. It’s hard to see her so heartbroken. She wasn’t sick, didn’t suffer and still had her beautiful mind. We miss her.
My brother Billy had a PET scan last month and they found spots they wanted to biopsy. I went with him for the procedure and he did great. The follow up appointments were encouraging. While he still has stage four lung cancer, they didn’t find anything additional in those spots. But he’s got another PET scan in two months.
Cancer sucks!
My brother Rob was in the hospital for three nights for his heart. He’s home now but the stress of this was A LOT with everything else going on.
My brother Joe went for a colonoscopy because of some issue they saw when he “pooped in a box”. All is well so far, but WTF?!
These are smaller issues that happened but still a lot with everything else. We had Mr Drain come out to take care of slow drain situation. Mom’s car went into the shop for a new water pump.
I know things could’ve been worse and we still had much to be thankful for on Thanksgiving!
Luckily I was off Thanksgiving week for my Aunt’s services at the beginning of the week.
I’m very glad to see November go
Usually I go to Maine for Columbus Day, but since I was going solo I bumped it to the beginning of October.
The first weekend in October was beautiful!! Sunshine, warm weather and everywhere decorated for Fall and Halloween!!
SNI was beautiful!

I sat outside and enjoyed the weather. Slept with the slider open to listen to the ocean! Had breakfast one morning with Dr Kate and her beautiful family. Enjoyed the last lobsters of the year at my favorite places!
One day I even went to a thrift store and bought a Nubble Lighthouse replica for under $15 !!
The pumpkin displays around York were AWESOME!!

The Anchorage where we used to stay for twenty plus years was huge!

Then there’s another place along Long Sands that is also AMAZING!!

The road through Ogunquit to Wells was beautifully decorated too. They really get in the season
October we celebrated the Twins birthday at an Italian restaurant. So good!
I had a week off besides my long weekend in Maine.
Met for lunch one Sunday with friends I hadn’t seen in awhile! It was a DB reunion!!
Billy went for his six month PET scan. I went to the follow up at the oncologist with him. They saw something concerning. There was excess fluid around the collapsed lung and they see some spots they want biopsied.
This morning early we were at the hospital to have the lung drained. Next week is the biopsy.
Can’t not write about Hurricane Melissa that devastated Jamaica this week.
. Reached out to some of my favorites in Montego Bay and they are strong. Tourism is their main industry and so many hotels were damaged. Have been praying for them all week

October. You started out strong. In the end you s*ck !!

Almost every Saturday in September we went to North Weymouth for beautiful cut flowers! There’s a lady who must love making people happy because she puts them out for people to take!
September flew by!
I was off Labor Day week! Went to Scituate one day for lunch with Mom and it was a beautiful day!
Lots of warm sunny days this month!
Met an old friend for supper at the same place we went in May.
Returned to the office for four days a week
Everyone was healthy this month too!
Bye September!
]]>August was hot. Even in Maine!
The twins and Mom stayed home.
Billy and me had lots of delicious seafood
!
We went to all our favorite places!

We visited Nubble Lighthouse at least once a day and sometimes twice!
This is a new view to me because one day the lot was empty and I noticed more flowers!

August in Maine was BUSY! I read that tourism was down, but not in York Beach!
I went to the pool and to the beach every day!
After vacation Mom and I went to lunch at one of our favorite places that do lobster specials! She loves their lobster rolls!

We ran into an old friend I hadn’t seen in 10+ years!! Immediately made plans to go out to lunch the following week! It was nice to catch up and know how well she’s doing
You know the saying “it warmed my heart!?” Well my heart was actually warm !

Can’t believe its the end of August!
I love summer, but July was too hot for me!
We had a long Fourth of July weekend. I was sitting outside watching neighborhood fireworks which were excellent but then about 45 minutes later I heard the fire trucks. One neighbor set another neighbor’s house on fire with fireworks accidentally
On July 10th we got 7 inches of rain in only a few hours. CRAZY!! We were lucky but so many people had damage.
Still dealing with tariff nightmares! Ugh!!
Watched The Hunting Wives on Netflix! It was so good!!
Everyone was pretty healthy in July!!

Bye July!

Went to Maine with brother Billy . He enjoyed lots of seafood at his favorite place Billy’s Chowder House!

Maine was beautiful and busy! Loved this new sign on Long Sands beach!

We saw Nubble Lighthouse every day, sometimes twice a day!

I went to the pool and beach for the best relaxing time!!
Mom still doesn’t want to go to Maine she’s more of a homebody now. The twins were off and stayed home with her.
Crazy that tomorrow is July already!
We celebrated Mother’s Day!
Everyone was healthy for the most part.
I continued PT for my right knee.
Rewatched My So Called Life on Hulu. Such a good show!
A highlight of the month was going out to dinner with an old friend!!
