I’m passionate about thought-provoking content; the type of stuff that stops the reader in a momentary eyebrows raised pose and a barely audible ‘huh’ as they read a piece which has opened a new door for them, or maybe just altered the lighting in a room they thought they already knew. Unlike Marshall McLuhan, I don’t think the medium is the message… but I do think that laying out the correct path is vital. Remember though content remains king.

My career has taken me to South Africa, Spain and back to the mother ship, and taken me through Octopus Publishing, Pearson, HarperCollins and the NHS (professional rather than palliative capacity) as well as enjoying the roving and rambling of the freelance life. I’m always on the look out for my next role and the way to bring that high quality content to the audience it deserves and how to flip it so that we start from the consumer and work back.

What you’ll find here will reflect my outlook on this industry of ours, mainly asking questions about how we move forward and continue to challenge our reader – but there’ll be the odd moan too. Just so you know.
