I saved teabags whilst away…the room maids must have thought I was potty! Lol! Anyway, that’s what I used for my background. I stamped a Claudine Hellmuth flower onto 7 Gypsy papers and lots of cutting out. I used PaperArtsy Everything Art, and Darkroom Door stamps for the title, then finished with white paint pen accents and splatter.

Just thought I’d share my recent crochet projects with you. I made the orange, pink and green wrap last week, whilst holidaying in Chamonix, France, in between hikes up in the beautiful alps. I had my crochet with me on the mountains too
Wishing you a glorious day,

Included in the classes was one of Dina’s fab new media journals, which have four different types of pages, watercolour paper, kraft card, canvas, and burlap. We also got to try Dina’s new Scribble Sticks, which look like crayons, but act like water colour pencils, with tons of pigment. Here are the pages I created over the two days…
Dina showed us how to create scribbly faces. This really appeals to me, as I don’t have the patience to paint faces realistically. We used her Scribble Sticks for this, and water activated with a paintbrush.
Loving the drips on this one.
After the classes, I headed up to Scotland for a couple of weeks holiday with my family, taking a few crafty supplies with me of course. I had a lovely play, printing on empty teabags with my Gelli Plate, That’s Crafty stencils, and Dina Wakley acrylic paint. I made a couple of collages with them in my new journal.
If you ever get the chance to take one of Dina’s classes, I would thoroughly recommend it. I adore her free and easy style.
