I think the Court should require employers, especially governments, to be neutral in these ideological battles. Hopefully the Court will explain what a “natural family” means. Does it include my married male female couple who used in vitro fertilization to have a much wanted child? Does it include my gay daughter who is in the 8th year of a commited gay relationship, who got married/annulled in San Francisco, who had a public commitment ceremony in Seattle area sponsored by the parents and loving siblings of the two women, who is pregnant with twins as the result of in vitro fertilization from a known donor friend at the same world-class clinic used by male/female couples?
If you can honestly say one is more “natural” than the other, then you don’t know the meaning of “natural,” meaning “in nature.”
It is about time that conservatives (I am a conservative Republican Episcopalian) understand and acknowledge that in opposing equal status for gays, they are not being conservative but rather are imposing their private religious views on others. You are entitled to your own interpretation of your religious text, just don’t seek to impose it on me or my family.

Thank you so much for keeping Kidnapped US Soldier Ahmed Altaie alive in your writings.I am his ex wife and it sickens me too that there is no publicity about him,except for the video.Do you have an email I can write you or contact to ask a serious question?
Ahmed Altaie is a 41 year old Kidnapped us Translator,he was born in Iraq,On Oct 23,06 almost 5 months now he was captured at gunpoint and is being held hostage by a group.
A video emerged by a website that shows AHmed speaking but there is no audio.Ahmed is loved and missed dearly by his family and friends.
The military is keeping their search for AHmed and we are told he is indeed alive.Who really knows the truth?I believe he is alive and being held as a bargaining chip.
We believe in god and that there could be a “miracle’and AHmed could be released.
Is there anyone here who could write me at my email Lindajray@aol.com if you have any suggestions for us in getting this situation under control? has anyone ever experienced this before?We need all the help we can get in assistance from the US and the Iraqi Government.Ahmed put his life on the line joining the Us Army and was trying to help his beloved Bagdad and US and make a craeer to solidify his promising future.
