Time to Invoke the 25th Amendment of the Constitution

U.S. President Donald Trump has linked his drive to take control of Greenland to his failure to win the Nobel Peace Prize, saying he no longer thought “purely of Peace” as the row over the island threatened to reignite a trade war with Europe.

Asked by NBC News in a brief telephone interview on Monday if he would use force to seize Greenland, Trump said “No comment,” adding he would “100%” follow through on plans to hit European nations with tariffs without a Greenland deal.

GOP Rep. McCaul says a US invasion of Greenland would mean ‘war with NATO itself’!

On January 18, 2026, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez warned a U.S. invasion of Greenland would damage NATO and `legitimize` Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, telling La Vanguardia it `would make Vladimir Putin the happiest man in the world`.

President Trump posted on Truth Social that a 10% tariff on Denmark goods starts February 1, rising to 25% on June 1 until a Greenland purchase deal is reached.

Leaders in Denmark and Greenland said the island is not for sale and almost 10 per cent of Greenlandic protesters marched chanting `Greenland is not for sale` on Saturday.

Sánchez warned on January 18, 2026, that `If the United States were to use force, it would be the death knell for NATO`, remarks published amid rising tensions between Washington and European allies.

European leaders warned as Keir Starmer, UK Prime Minister, called tariff threats `completely wrong` and Emmanuel Macron, President of France, deemed them `unacceptable` ahead of February 1.

Trump says we need Greenland for National security

I say we need a new president for National Security.

What has happened to the United States?

What has happened to my country? President Donald Trump has made himself the dictator of the country and has chosen to attack both friends and foes in his pursuit of his desire to control the world. It appears as dictator he intends to enable China to control all of east Asia and Russia to control all of Europe.

Sadly the U.S. congress has become a puppet. The constitution will no longer be the basic law and will be a piece of history. The 250th anniversary of the United States will also mark the end of our democracy.

I am crying.

It is a dark, dark time

This holiday, I am grieving over the loss of my country and the values for which it once stood.

It is a dark, dark time. The evil and sadism of this country’s administration over the last 12 months have been exhausting and soul-crushing. It’s disheartening, too, to know that that destruction is only going to endure, even increase, for the next three years, if not longer.

In times of trouble, one retreats into their faith for understanding and the values of that faith. I’ve been reminded over the past year of my cherishing of the values that this country once stood for: That all of us are created equal and are deserving of life, liberty, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness; that we have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people; and that we practice and promote kindness, decency, and respect for all people.

I hope that one day we may return as a people to those values.
