I like your introduction, I believe that is the reason we, certainly I write. Regarding your comment on Temptress, I may as well have been writing about myself. But as in my poem Mistress, sometimes there is comfort in not hearing the words “I love you.” But mostly not. Still, your words are profound – “Your affections saved me from myself and through your blindness I saw you…” That is heartbreaking. Ironically I am blind. Legally. Maybe somebody someday will find me through my “affections”
