Hi, I’m Cliff Winter. In June 2021 I graduated from Thompson Rivers Univeristy’s with a B.Ed. (Secondary) STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). My teachable subjects are Physics 11/12, Science 8-10, and Math 8-10. I have a background in mechanical engineering with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. After a career in overseas and in Western Canada and rewarding experiences volunteering with school basketball and local rep. soccer teams, I decided to pursue a new career in education. I strive to be a positive influence in the lives of students. My goal is to make science interesting and relevant by providing project-based learning opportunities, plenty of hands-on labs (big and small) and by incorporating real world examples. Further, I would like to challenge the creativity of students and strive to be supportive and inclusive.
