carview.php?tsp=

Felt tip pen, Fluorescent marker and gel pen with chalk pastel on paper.

Approx. 10×10

As I’m loading this drawing on to wordpress I’m watching the BBCs ‘The A to Z of TV Gardening’. I must try grafting my own apples and perhaps start an asparagus bed. In February I crave crave crave summers greens, flowers and relaxation. The ‘The A to Z of TV Gardening’ is feeling this cravenness. Perhaps this is way this drawing has such a warm interior in contrast to the minus temperatures outside and the broodingly dark trees.

I love the snow. My collie dog BauWhao and her best friend, Willow, where so excited and so naughty on the morning walk. Both dogs did lots of happy barking, jumping, running in circles, sliding and twizzels. Neither dog wanted to come back on the lead to g home. It was a joy.

It was such a strange light this morning. It is aways an odd light before the snow storms come. Winds from the east, slip from the flat plains of Lincolnshire un abided straight into the studio and side of the house.
