Christopher Dwyer is an Indo-Canadian author and multidisciplinary artist from Fogo, Newfoundland.

As a writer and designer, Chris has freelanced for 25 years and written short films, the dystopian serial City of Necropolis, and the children’s series Bedtime Stories for Brats. He is also the author of novels and novellas that explore the stumbles we take on the paths to self-fulfillment.

At the University of Toronto he worked as a copywriter, events planner, and admin guy. As a teacher, he taught IGCSE and IB across four continents with two Mongolian cats. He currently freelances/ghost writes/teaches.

His fiction spans thriller, mystery, comedy, dystopian, slipstream, literary fiction and children’s – though these are prone to change, overlap, and interlope. His recent work is inspired by the Canadian Gothic experience, and explores the past to understand who we are in the present.

He is also a photographer, DJ, and occasionally a drummer, and lives in a house down by the river in Nova Scotia, Canada.
