This Is Kosta a very cute chihuahua (as you can see). It is one of my small pet portraits. Oil on canvas, 6″ x 8″.
He has a really sweet Rags to Riches story, if you want to hear it let me know.

Do you recognizer this famous Mexican pop singer?

This is Cristian Castro, very famous Mexican singer. One of his friends commissioned me to draw this portrait of him as a gift for him.
Gee, maybe he will hire me to paint his portrait for his next DVD cover. 🙂
Doing a few pencil portraits again as well as commissioned oil paintings.
Ahh the life of an artist, what a fun game!

First Pencil Portrait in a while

This is the first pencil portrait I have done in a while. Isnt that just the cutest baby? And proud papa.
Been distracted by number of things but mostly by the painting I need to finish. You’ll see it soon. 🙂

Petunia: cat portrait

This is Petunia. Just finished her. Isn’t she cute?
I am curently also working on a large, full size oil portrait of a dog. It’s about 6 times bigger than this little 6 x 8 oil.

Blinkie: Cat Portrait

Here is the beloved cat of Drew. Blinkie. Was presented for his 21st birthday and he said it was his favorite gift of all.
That made me so happy. That is why I paint. To capture the beautiful personalities of people and pets and leave a legacy that will go on for a very long time. Drew’s future kids will even know Blinkie.

This painting was a surprise gift from wife to husband for Christmas. He loved it and it really made me see that men as well as women love portraits of their pets.
