
Sablée
- 225 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- pinch salt
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- 270 g flour
Cream your butter, sugar and salt together. Add yolk and vanilla till completely incorporated. Add flour and mix till just combined. Chill dough for at least ½ an hour. You can roll these out and cut into rounds or you can roll it into a log before chilling, and just slice after chilled. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350º. Dredge in sugar while still warm.
