Hi! I am a third-year PhD student in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, where I am fortunate to be advised by Aditi Raghunathan. Before starting my PhD, I completed my MS degree also at CMU. Prior to CMU, I was an undergrad in linguistics at Tsinghua University.   I was born and raised in Nanjing, China.

My current research focuses on enabling creative and safe exploration for language models in open-ended tasks.
