Sun, 14 Feb 2021 16:45:11 +0000https://cdsmith.wordpress.com/?p=224#comment-10510Hello from the future! It’s 2021, and I still don’t know any programmer using a statically typed language who doesn’t complain about performance.
I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t know every language and compiler, but claiming “For most computing environments, performance is the problem of two decades ago” (especially back in 2010!) sounds a bit like scribbling “I have discovered a truly marvelous compiler” in the margin of your copy of TAOCP. Maybe it’s true, but it seems more likely that it’s going to take another 350 years of research to confirm.

I enjoy solving people’s problems and make them happy. That is what I have been doing for decades now.
I have been writing since I was 12 years old and never knew it would turn out to be a full-time career. I have also been able to handle several projects that involves writing. And I worked in three organizations as a volunteer to assist people. My hobbie has always been to help people succeed. And I go the extra mile to make that happen.
I enjoy writing Thesis and have helped people from countries like Canada.
I work with a service provider whose mission is to provide quality works and make people happy. In fact, many clients come to me for help on a daily basis because they know I always deliver. And I will continue to provide nothing but quality to build trust like I have been doing for the past few years.

Thu, 20 Jun 2019 10:39:32 +0000https://cdsmith.wordpress.com/?p=224#comment-9120Static v. Dynamic typing is a false dilemma (aka false dichotomy).
From wikipedia — “A false dilemma is a type of informal fallacy in which something is falsely claimed to be an “either/or” situation, when in fact there is at least one additional option. The false dilemma fallacy can also arise simply by accidental omission of additional options rather than by deliberate deception.”
In this case, the omission of a hybrid type system makes the whole argument seem unnecessary.
