My name is Checkers and I am a blue merle Cardigan Welsh Corgi. I am 2 years old. I was born at Coedwig Cardigans but now live with my current owners, who love me and keep me very happy. I have two other dog pals at my house.
Nash is also a Cardigan Welsh Corgi and is the dog boss. He’s about 4 or so. He’s all alpha dog but knows how to relax.
Blizzard, a.k.a. Scruff, a.k.a Evil Genius is a chocolate merle Chihuahua. He’s about 1 1/2 like me. My owner calls him “Evil Genius” because he is always scheming to steal food and get into other trouble. His genius is that he always looks so innocent and cute (on purpose), therefore he can get away with murder!
I like to do lots of things. You know, the usual dog stuff; bark, go for walks, eat, nap, play, chew on Nylabones, etc. I also like to pick fake fights with Nash and Scruff and chew on library books and TV remotes. Oh, yes, I love car rides, even if they do end up at the vet sometimes. Blogging is my newest fun thing. I dictate my entries to my owner and he puts them on the web. I used to type my own stuff, but I’m pretty slow. Plus, I would rather chew the computer mouse than use it to navigate around the screen!
All in all, it’s a dog’s life-what could be better?!

Hi Checkers, I’m a new angel, I live in AR. Wish I would have been here when you were here. Mom says we could have played alot together. My best friend is Tigger, he is a small Cardigan, we play hard and then sleep together in the pen. By the way I am a white fluff ball, just call me Tonka’s little sister. Yep, another Samoyed. Checkers, Remember Star well she had puppies and they all went to their wonderful new homes to live. One stayed here, her name is Eve. If you remember Star as a puppy then you know what I am going through. She is pretty full of herself and drives Leda nuts. Mom is layed back and it takes alot to drive her nuts. So, now we are two for two, the black girls against the two white fluffballs. Chat at ya later, mom says its nap time, geesh, hasn’t she fiqured out she is the only one tired!
