Jacqui, we’re so glad you made this and your family liked it! Nice tweaks too. If you still have some labneh, try our Middle Eastern labneh sandwich recipe.

I made this recipe after buying fresh labneh and not really knowing what to do with it. My family all agreed this was one of the nicest pasta dishes we’ve ever tried. I used up leftover Christmas ham instead of bacon and added mushrooms as well. I’ll definately make this one again.
Thank you 🙂 ]]>

We’re so glad you liked it, Elke! And thanks about the tip on adding more fish to replace the tofu.

Holy cow, this is delicious! I added more fish instead of tofu and some salt. This is a lovely combination of flavors. Will make this again!

Thanks for making our recipe (twice!), Stephanie! And the half bourbon/half water mix sounds like a great balance. Happy new year!

I made one for myself and one for a gift. Great flavor, beautiful presentation. I soaked the cherries in half bourbon/half water because I didn’t want it to overwhelm the olive oil and star anise. I found this to be a good balance. Thank you for this fabulous recipe that will now be in my regular rotation of gift giving cakes.

Comment on A classic summer cocktail gets a fresh twist: Spanish Gin & Tonic by Terry B

Hi, Sondra. No idea about the juniper berries floating or sinking, sorry. Honestly, when shooting the photo, I recall using the ice to try to make everything not sink to the bottom. But it does make an argument for using straws if they do float. Thanks for visiting!

My husband had a memorable G&T in Saint Remy this past October. The juniper berries in the drink stayed at the bottom of the drink. When I tried to recreate at home, the berries floated to the top and were difficult to not swallow.
Thank you 🙂 ]]>
Any idea how to get the berries to stay at glass’ bottom, like little polliwogs?
