Alright knot-head,
Got up early this Sunday morning, because I remembered during the night you had written a piece on “Reasons not to be baptized.” Ran to your site and did a seach and realized that you didn’t move any of your older stuff over to your new site. “Dang”
That would have worked great in my lesson this morning … 🙂
Have enjoyed reading your thoughts on Christians and government. Will add you to my blog-roll. Have a great day.
Were you at FH from 1974 to 1992? If so, did you take any sociology courses?
I was at FHU from 94-98 and had Dr. Sam Jones for the basic sociology class
thanks, cole
wanted you to know about what we are doing

I’ve lost ALL my email addresses and came here looking for yours…. Can’t find it. Shucks.
When you get time will you email the name of the place you’ve made reservations at it Tulsa?
Thanks bro
Hello from one Brian to another. I’ve found your blog site while searching for “Koine”. I’m attemtping to learn some Koine this year with the help of Dr. Bill Mounce’s resources and thought I’d search for any Koine-related blogs/blog posts.
It’s a small world: while I’m a Baptist by tradition (and not C o’ Christ as yourself), my first home out of college (and first married home) was in Beebe, AR, also in White Co. though down the road a bit from Searcy. I worked in Searcy and met many wonderful people there (several also Harding Grads and also currently work with a Speech Therapist who is a HU alum). I look forward to reading more of your posts.
Keep preaching and keep blogging!
hey brian, cool on the central AR connection and on Greek.
I will try to email you a list of stuff I have that has been helpful. I had four quarters of it at HU and did well, but haven’t kept up.
Brian,
Just getting acquainted with your blog. It looks really interesting! I enjoyed all our conversations way back when in HSBS. You’ve got a lot of great stuff here. I’ll be back…
hey pat! thanks for coming by. we will be in searcy this november, maybe we can say hey
Hi Brian,
I wanted to leave a comment on your most recent post but could never get to the comments section, the link only refreshed the page.
Royce
hey royce, I actually turned comments off, didn’t really want a big “discussion” just stuff to think about individually
I just stumbled across your blog while doing some research/looking for inspiration for tomorrow’s assembly. I read a whole article and several comments before it dawned on me that you must be church of Christ. Then it was confirmed when I read the “About Me” page. I am very excited to have found your blog as I see an inquisitiveness about scripture and issues, and a willingness to investigate “sacred cows”, that mirrors my own thoughts. I’m eager to continue reading and exploring all the posts.
Hey Brian! Missing your comments on FB.
Teresa
I’ve added a link to your blog on my blog.

Hello! I would love your opinion of my blog. In Him,
I previously sent you an email , saying I couldn’t find where to download the pdf file to my computer. Ignore that email. The link finally came up. I have dialup, so it just took a long time.
Thanks!
