The online marketplace is exciting. New technologies combined with mature online behavior are driving new revenue models.
As before, the USA is at the leading edge of technology and innovation. However this time innovation is also happening globally. In fact there are certain technologies like Mobile where Europe and Asia have a higher adoption rate.

People like you coming and making it to happen here in our own country shows yes we can do it. opprtunites are opening in the last
couple of years to facilitate atleast a small portion of NRI to seriously think of shifting and investing in business in India other type of investments people would have made in land and real estate but really not in business great and I pray may your tribe double and trible and so on on…………………….

This is a recent start-up, their web-site..

Swantha was formed by Sanjay who is the brother of Vijay Bharadhwaj (a popular Bangalore cricketer who once played for India and has played many Ranji matches for Karnataka. Vijay recently announced his retirement). Swantha has a team that is growing and they are doing some good innovative jobs.
You may check this out and talk to them if there are folks of similar interest to pool..
I know of a couple VCs or groups similar to VCs who are looking out for innovative ideas to fund. If anyone know of any such group / small company that is doing innovative stuff and looking for funding, please post them with some details.
