About
This is me. Trying to be a writer. And writers write. I’m a woman, first and foremost, but I also hold the titles of Mom, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Business Analyst, Musician, and Friend. I’m complicated, but not overly so. I think I’m pretty likeable. I think that I have some interesting things to say and I hope that you will agree. I’m restarting this blog and have not quite determined its direction yet. I had a baby boy who was almost 4 months old when he passed away from Congenital Heart Disease. I have two older sons. My blog might be about them, or me, or some combination thereof. I’m ready to see where my writing takes me.
I’m a monthly contributor at Still Standing Magazine, which is an online magazine dedicated to embracing life and love after loss and infertility. Check me out over there starting in May. I’ll be blogging about Current Events and Self-Care.

Hi, Rachel. I watched Transforming Loss yesterday and felt so much of your pain in the loss of your baby. My second daughter, Clara Eileen, was stillborn at the beginning of the ninth month of my pregnancy eight months ago. She was five pounds and beautiful. I am trying to navigate this pain and my faith in God and if you would be open to giving me at insight in the process my email is *********. I am sorry for the loss of your precious Collin. Our babies with God certainly change our lives forever as do our babies with us. Rachel Wetterauer
