I realize I haven't been very good with my blogging, work has gotten in the way of that as has family time. I do get to stop in and check on my friends weekly, to see how you are all doing and what new creations you've made.
As far as my art, it too is taking a break..very sad to say, but you all keep me motivated..I thank you for that.
As my title says, "Time to Vote,".....My girl friend's sister, (a creative photographer, yea we are bias..but shes still GOOD!!) has entered one of her pictures in a contest and the first place prize is $1000 worth of learnings/art supplies. Along with her photography, she runs a in-home daycare/preschool (God has given her much patience). So the winnings would be very beneficial to her children along with the other ones she teaches. As we all know, ART is important and the chance to give young people the materials to expand there mind with art and creating with their imagination is priceless.
So if any of you have time to stop in at the website I've listed below and give her your vote, I thank you. The name of the picture is Shawna & Co. she's #8 on the list. Again thanks,
Ricardo
Here is a picture of Shawna with the link to the contest below

The Many Faces of Ricardo
Hello All...
Well, I'm back in Iowa and am having the time of my life. So far we have seen the
4th of July celebration, the annual town party, went swimming, watched the final softball game of the season, and celebrated my 50th birthday. The pictures that are posted are from my birthday, where Trudy's sister took it upon herself to capture all of my many expressions, some I didnt realize I had. It was a great party, one I won't soon forget.
I will soon beable to start my painting and digital designs again, so I hope to see you all here.

To The Many Fathers...
Happy Father's Day to all of the wonderful fathers who have cared for, provided for, and loved their child. For being the man your son can look up to with pride and say that's my dad, I want to be like him. For being a man your daugther can run to for love and protection, being the first love of your daughter's life. I honor you.
To the men who have helped, motivated, inspired, and been a role model for a child, a man doesn't have to be a father to make an impression on a child. I, myself am not a father, but I am an uncle to a wonderful little girl. I love her, protect her, and try to guide her in her life the best that I can. Thank you as well and enjoy today.

Bragging Rights
As some of you know I was in Iowa visiting my girlfriend and her children; however, I had to come back to New York for a couple of weeks. I will be going out to Iowa once again to share in their lives. I miss them greatly. My lil lady is very special to me and is hard to be away.
So this post is about them and again maybe you all can get to know me a little better along with my art...some things are beyond precious, so I had to share them with you.
In this picture is my girlfriend Trudy and I on the Empire State Building during her visit here last summer.
This picture was taken during the graduation party of Trudy's oldest Son, Joey.
Here is Trudy's other Son, Jake. We were messing around at a park.
Thanks for sharing in my world...enjoy

A little about myself
- Beltran Studios
- The best way I can describe myself and my passion, is simply the word ART. I love everything about the word and all that it involves. Not only do I enjoy creating new artwork through my expressions and ideals, I find pleasure in doing so. They're so many aspects to art and different methods to achieve something beautiful, that I could never get bored. However, they're times I get flusterated, but never stop loving the ART. Beyond that, I was born and raised In New York City, New York. I call the Manhattan area, the concrete jungle. The tall skyscraper that surrounds me practically from every other corner of a block reminds me of gigantic trees reaching for the sky. Art is my passion. I’m from the old school; however, I have opened myself up to new experiences with different mediums and technology. I enjoy working with acrylics, its my favorite and at times most challenging. My recent passion has involved digital 3-D art, it's a whole different realm compared to traditional mediums.
