Elizabeth Iannone Photography Photoblog: The world, one image at a time.
About My Blog & Me
Hello, world! My name is Elizabeth Iannone and I like to think of myself as an amateur shutterbug…an amateur shutterbug dressed up with a whole lot of photos and nowhere to go. Dr. Shutterbug, if you will! Rather than loading my original blog with scattered images, I have decided to dedicate an entire blog–a photoblog–solely to photography. All images are original unless otherwise noted. Enjoy and check out my blog at https://liziannone.wordpress.com/
Oh, and just one more note: Before starting medical school, I worked in a biomedical research lab, so some of the featured images are immunofluorescent images of SCIENCE (just in case you were wondering what some of the funkier, stranger photos were)!
One final thought: I’ve noticed that people like to post pictures of their children. Since I don’t have any real human children, here are some photos of my “fur-kids”. Izzie is a Siberian cat. The next “fur-baby” is Maddie. And, this past September (2011), I adopted two sweet sister kittens that were *maybe* 4 weeks old and were going to be euthanized. Introducing: Emma and Samantha (Fondly known as Emma Bean and Sammy Jo). So yes, I now have 4 cats. Jay and I are the crazy cat people. All the fur-kids get along famously and we are one big happy family full of fuzzy love! Okay, okay, that sounded a bit nutty, but we are all quite happy.
(Soap Box Time: Please adopt a furry friend from your local animal shelter!!).
The combination of the four of them, emergency medicine residency, photography, wedding planning, and attempting to maintain some semblance of a social life keeps me one busy woman!

I commend your work, from start to finish. I wish I had the time, eye and equipment you do.Did you live in Erie, PA at one point? just wondering how you’ve been all over and managed to squeeze in some p.i. shots.

I’m quite flattered! I’ve actually only been to Erie once (a quick weekend trip)…lets just say that when I get some precious free time, I like to make the most of it and see/do things that I never have before! Do you live in Erie? P.I. is such a wonderful place to do photography!

Hi Elizabeth!
Awesome blog, love the pictures you take! Inspires me to bust out my canon and go shooting haha.
I stumbled on your site through the Los Angeles tag and wanted you to be one of the first to know that we are launching an event website called wigo events. Our site focuses on a community of users in Los Angeles sharing cool events that they know about, and we would love to have you be a part of it! If you are interested in being one of our very first users please leave us your email address at the link right below, sorry its so long, don’t know how to add a hyperlink in the comment section haha. Once our site goes live in the next few months, we’ll let you know!
