Hello there…………
I recently came across mention of your blog and was intrigued. Of course I was intrigued, since I am a huge Ina fan. However, I see that all of the membership is female. Is this a “women” only group? Care to have a “token” male along for the ride……..LOL?
Mark
Ina is constantly surrounded by men. I can’t see a predjudice against the male gender.
Come along for the ride, Mark. You’ll need to bring plenty of butter. 😉
Love this idea, blog and I love Ina. I have all her cookbooks, but this is a strict blog, so not sure I can keep up with the terms, but will think about it.
Hi there! I just came across this site – what a great idea! I also have a food blog, and actually just did a review of Barefoot Contessa’s croque monsieur recipe. Check it out when you have a chance!

[…] month I joined a group called Barefoot Bloggers, it’s a group of bloggers dedicated to following the steps of Barefoot Contessa (Ina Garten) […]
I want to join this and am just getting started on a food blog. I love all things INA! If you have any suggestions on how to get my blog rolling, I’d love to hear them!
Ina,
I have a question, but don’t know where to go on what site to ask it. In recipies yours and others you seem like you use a lot of salt. I am on a restricted diet, what can I use to substitue to salt besides salt substitute. Another question, I have a orange allergy, many recipies call for orange juice, what can be substituted for this and still taste about the same. Thank you, cann’t wait to hear back from you.

Gayle, Please contact your physician or a nutritionist for information about a salt substitute as this group is not designed to give out nutritional advice. Regarding the orange juice – most of the time you can leave it out but sometimes lemon juice can be substituted.
Hi Tara! Love the blog, love Ina, love cooking! I have a blog myself and I’d love to be a part of BB. Are you still accepting members? Please let me know what I can do to become a Barefoot Blogger. Thanks!
