I am an ordinary woman. I have an ordinary family. We are living in bad conditions. Whilst I hope to goodness our living conditions improve soon, I feel for the 1.6 million others in a similar situation to me and I am so apalled at the inaction and apathy of many local councils that I was moved to create this blog.
If you have found my site and think, ‘Ewww, poor people moaning.’ then please can I encourage you to read on and try and challenge yourself to open not only your eyes, but your minds and hearts to the plight facing many families throughout Britain today.
If you don’t think you can help then you are wrong. If you have 5 minutes spare you could copy and paste a sample letter and send it via email to your local newspaper or send a template email to government.
The more voices behind a campaign, the more things get changed.
Oh and I value any opinions which would help all of those facing housing crisis.
Please join me and fight for more affordable RENTED housing for everyone who needs it.
(Oh and I don’t work for Shelter and I am not endorsed by or affiliated to them in any way, but they have been invaluable to me and my family as we have been navigating the nasty dark waters of our own UK housing crisis. I would recommend them, they know what they are doing).

Great blog!
Just sent the email thing to the Government and signed the overcrowded petition too!
We can’t leave it to shelter. We have to fight for ourselves.Yeah let’s get this thing going because its getting worse!
