Alex Xie
Hi there! I'm a research engineer at Cartesia.
Before this, I did my master's in language technologies at Carnegie Mellon, where I was fortunate to be co-advised by Matt Gormley and Daniel Fried; I also worked closely with Carolyn Rosé. I worked on various aspects of AI for code: evaluation, interaction, and security. More broadly, I'm interested in human-AI interaction and collaboration.
Even earlier, I did my undergrad in CS at CMU and worked with Vincent Hellendoorn.
