SUBSCRIPTION - Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

You can cancel your AR Code subscription anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period, and you retain premium feature access until then. No cancellation fees or hidden charges apply.

SUBSCRIPTION - Which payment methods are accepted by AR Code?

AR Code accepts Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover for premium plans. Payments for STANDARD and PRO subscriptions can be made monthly or annually, with invoices sent by email for easy management.

SUBSCRIPTION - What is the licensing process for marketing agencies using AR Codes for commercial purposes?

Marketing agencies should select a Reseller License plan to resell or manage AR Codes for clients. Each client must have a Commercial License. Use the STANDARD license for clients under 100 employees, PRO for up to 500, and DEDICATED for companies above 500. This ensures scalable AR solutions for agencies.

SUBSCRIPTION - Who owns the AR Code content?

You maintain ownership of 3D models created on AR Code. Third-party uploads remain property of the original creator. Always confirm legal usage rights for external assets and follow AR Code platform rules.

SUBSCRIPTION - What happens to my AR Codes if I cancel my premium subscription?

When you cancel, your account reverts to Free Trial at the end of your billing cycle. Free Trial content isn’t guaranteed long-term, so your AR Codes can become inactive unless you renew under a Standard or Pro plan.

SUBSCRIPTION - Is there a premium plan with unlimited scans?

Unlimited scans are not included in premium plans. AR Code’s infrastructure is designed for business reliability, and premium plans ensure high-quality, secure AR experiences with scalable resources.

SUBSCRIPTION – What happens if I exceed the scan limits of my premium plan?

If you exceed scan limits, AR Codes (AR Scans) remain active but AI Codes (AI Scans) are restricted. You can purchase extra AR Scans at $0.10 each (STANDARD) or $0.05 each (PRO). Notifications guide you to upgrade or buy more scans as needed.

AR RENDER - Can I control where an AR experience appears (geolocation)?

Geolocation and GPS targeting are not available. AR Code experiences are optimized automatically to fit any device and environment for precision AR wherever users scan your codes.

AR RENDER - Can I use my own domain URL or host AR Code technology locally?

All AR Code experiences are securely hosted on ar-code.com. Local or custom domain hosting is not provided. To personalize AR links, use the Custom Page feature. View the Custom Page creation guide for steps.

AR RENDER - Can a 3D model within an AR Code include a clickable button?

Boost engagement by adding a Custom Link to your 3D model's AR Code. Premium tiers provide features like Custom Pages for clickable URLs and interactive AR landing pages.

AR RENDER - Can I view AR Code experiences using Meta Quest or Apple Vision headsets?

Access Meta Quest and Apple Vision headsets to experience immersive AR Video and 3D model content. These solutions are ideal for business, education, product design, and marketing.

AR RENDER - Can I modify the lighting settings for an immersive AR experience?

AR Code does not allow direct lighting adjustments. The platform relies on your device’s ambient lighting to optimize realism. For enhanced effects, configure lighting within your 3D models prior to upload.

AR RENDER – What are AI Codes, and how do they differ from traditional QR Codes?

ACCOUNT - What happens to my data if I delete my AR Code account?

Deleting your AR Code account permanently removes all associated AR experiences, analytics, and personal information. All active subscriptions are cancelled at once, ensuring data privacy compliance.

ACCOUNT - Can sound or audio be added to an AR Code experience?

Audio is available with AR Video experiences. Sound in interactive 3D models is not yet supported, but AR Video enables complete multimedia AR presentations.

ACCOUNT - Can I customize the AR experience, such as attaching it to a specific image or monument?

ACCOUNT - What 3D file formats are supported by the AR Code platform? What is the maximum file size for 3D model uploads on AR Code?

AR Code supports .GLB, .USDZ, .PLY, .STL, .FBX, .OBJ, .X3D, .GLTF, and .ZIP (with textures). For .DAE, .ABC, .USDZ, .STP, or .IGS, use the 3D conversion and compression guide. Uploads over 25MB require support. Review the model size reduction tutorial for more tips.

ACCOUNT - Can I customize the design of an AR Code?

Display AR objects at actual 1:1 scale by selecting the right AR Code rendering mode. Set your 3D model dimensions in your design software for accurate real-world sizing.

ACCOUNT - Can I display multiple 3D models within one AR Code experience?

Each AR Code is limited to a single 3D model. To present several models, combine them into a unified scene with your 3D software before uploading.

ACCOUNT - How can I update the video or 3D model content of an AR Code?

To update an AR Code, use your dashboard to select the code and upload new video or 3D content. Keep your AR experiences up to date for your audience.
