There’s a couple things wrong with the app first off. There is no theater mode like there is using other alternative apps. Also, there’s no auto dim selection as other people also mentioned the quality is a bit low when watching in spatial mode and there seems to be some sort of issue with the app currently on the newest visionOS update. These are honestly things that can be fixed quite easily I hope they work on it

For some reason when watching the spatial or 360 or 3-D videos the quality is absolutely terrible. It looks like I’m watching this in 260p. Even when trying to change the streaming resolution, it doesn’t change anything I can go up or down and quality in the video still looks the exact same. I’m not sure if this is intentional or if this is a bug, but it looks absolutely terrible.

Nice update and appreciated for making the view window much larger. That was much needed. Definitely increasing the polish of the app is appreciated. About the only thing that would be nice to see is the ability to respond to comments or make comments, and/or the ability to use Gemini to see summaries like you now can on Apple TV. To see Google working on this. It’s nice.

As the title implies, the app is buggy. More than half the time I try to use it the videos just never start. Attempting to open a video quickly opens to a black screen that never changes. Even after force quits / restarts of the device. Beyond that, the app is just okay. The interface seems barebones but is a bit easier to use than the website UI. Spatial videos are pretty cool, but I find the resolution is lacking even at the highest quality settings.
