I live and write in Washington, D.C., my favorite city in the world!
My short stories are usually science fiction but sometimes fantasy. The same goes for my novels. I volunteer for the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association as the Career Mentorship Program Coordinator. I also review for the Washington Independent Review of Books. In the past, I’ve blogged for Weightless Books and served as the blogmaster for the Potomac Review Literary Journal. In 2017, I attended Clarion West’s six-week summer workshop. I’ve worked for the National Institutes of Health, NASA, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
What really matters is that I fell in love with The Police’s Zenyatta Mondatta and Frank Herbert’s Dune in the same year. Both feature Sting (sorta). Coincidence? I think not. One thing led to another, and now I believe I will win the lotto. Not the Powerball jackpot or anything like that. Just a million dollars. There’s no arguing with me.
When I sleep, I dream of kittens.

No, we don’t have to. We could be “just friends” and not “real friends.” Except I do read your writing and enjoy it. And always have. The goat story remains stuck in my mind in a way that is not, well, not completely disturbing.
