Perfect watch

Great smartwatch

Just plop it on the charger in the morning right after waking up and take it with you whenever you start your day. It charges pretty quickly. The screen is bright enough to see in the sun. It’s helpful for better insight into your general health - heart rate, oxygen, sleep, etc. I also notice some people don’t know whether to choose the 42 or 46mm size. I’d say go for the 42mm. It’s a large enough screen to do anything you’d want to do on a smartwatch. The photo uses a water bottle cap to give an idea of the size of the screen.

Great watch

What You Should Know I Had To Search To Find
Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2026With my iPhone this is an amazing smart watch that has some features you should probably know about. Warning, there's one negative aspect to consider. Overall I give the series 11 a 5/5 stars rating without a second thought.
I will begin with the positives features.
- With the series 11 I can log into my MacBook Pro as long as I am wearing the watch. It took a little setting up and trouble shooting with AI (I used Grok), but it works. This should work with various MacBooks (I recommend checking with AI which to be sure it works with yours. I promise I am not a paid AI promoter it's just what helped me.)
- It syncs with music, meaning: you tap an icon on the top of the watch display screen while music is playing and the screen shows what song is playing and album artwork while it allows you to tap to pause, go to the next song, begin the song again, or go to settings. I did this with Spotify and Apple Music so I can confirm it works with both. In settings with Apple Music you can play other music from the same artist or go to the album to select another song.
There is one negative aspect I should point out (why the rating isn't 6/5 stars!) and it's a bit of a substantial one.
- To see your step count on the main face (where time is displayed) you need a third party app. I paid the $30/year fee for the pedometer++ app (from App Store) and it has worked flawlessly since. This takes a little setting up. I will emphasize that you can track your steps without the third party app, but, again you need the additional app to see it on the Home Screen.

Nice watch

Durable and Profound

It sits right in the middle on battery life, features and price, and it's likely the one I'd choose for myself if I were buying my first Apple Watch or upgrading from an older model. It's gotten a noticeable battery bump, 5G support and more reliable connectivity on cellular models, better scratch resistance on the aluminum version, a potentially lifesaving hypertension (high blood pressure) notification, a new sleep score and a refreshed WatchOS 26 interface.
