Well crafted case. Many have questioned the durability of the leather, but with reasonable care, it will certainly last until you up date your phone once again. I’m impressed with the quality of it.

Additionally, the case is relatively thin and does not add any appreciable bulk or weight to the phone.

My only concern is I’m not sure of the amount of protection provided with dropping your phone. If you are uncertain or uncomfortable with the thinness of the case, go with silicone or the like. I personally do not like the feel of silicone over time, and detest any added thickness to the phone.

I will attest to the value of a screen saver-a good one. My last iPhone was about two weeks away from being eligible for a “jump” upgrade (think the pink I carrier). I dropped it about two feet onto the floor. The screen saver cracked but the glass itself was not damaged.

So, yes. I like it and would consider another when the time comes for a phone upgrade.

After using various plastic cases since I got my iPhone 12, this leather case immediately feels so much better in my hand. It's leather all right — I could smell it as soon as I opened the package — and with the metal buttons and metal rim around the camera module, it feels much more premium than other cases despite costing about the same. The fit is very good and allows you to appreciate the design of your phone; actually, my one complaint is that it's a little too good, because as other reviewers have said, the aperture around the lightning port isn't large enough to accommodate wider charging cables. Also, not exactly a complaint, but I wish it came in more colors. It's hard to go wrong with black, but I really wanted a red leather case to match my red iPhone...but I guess it's a compliment if I like the case enough that I want to see more of it.

It’s a good case. It didn’t fit my phone perfectly, it likes pulling off one of the corners slightly. It doesn’t come off but it annoys me to know it’s not fitting perfect.

Picture 1: This case cannot get wet. The part near the mute switch deformed a ton when gotten a little moist a few times. I had it on the door of the shower away from direct water but the steam deformed it.

Picture 2: There is a small deformation near the power button that grew once it got “wet” it’s hard to see in the picture but it comes out towards the screen a bit.

Picture 3: This is also where it broke slightly. I’ve removed the case a handful of times and this made it so it only bends there and is weak. The rest of the case is quite rigid.

Picture 4: my fault. I dropped it while on a bike ride and it hit my gears I think. The leather was totally torn up but after a couple weeks it has kind of gone back together a bit!

Picture 5: damage from dropping it. Dropped onto rough asphalt made large dents and rips that somewhat healed over time. The soft leather kind of molds back into place

Overall it’s a pretty case that you have to treat nice or else. My lifestyle is not good for this

Beautiful leather case for the new iPhone 12 pro. Perfect fit, great quality, stunning leather, and perfect edges/bezels to protect your phone. Really please with the look and feel, only thing I wish it didn’t have was the stamped logo on the right for of the screen (side where the power button is). Luckily it’s embossed in black and isn’t noticeable. For the price and speed of delivery, this was a great find and even better buy. Highly recommend.

It’s a basic thin leather case. Great price and great quality. I have not received my phone yet, but the case is pretty great. Good feel in the hand. If you take care of your phones this should be more than enough drop protection. I will update this review if my experience changes at all.

Update: really just doesn’t fit the phone very well. Which is disappointing. The case always starts to come off of my phone on my pocket.

(2 weeks of use) The case has metal buttons to maintain that premium feel. They line up exactly and will never mis-click. All the cutouts are very precise and do not hinder the camera or the speakers. Very similar to Apple branded leather case with the suede lining to not scratch the phone. The case has a little bit of a lip so if I drop it the screen is not impacted first. This does not have MagSafe. The leather has not peeled or changed in color. For the price, I feel it is a great value!

I usually buy a leather case for my new iPhones directly from Apple, but for the iPhone 12 the only one that they offered was with the Magsafe. Some reviews that I saw were wary about that new charging system, so I looked elsewhere, of course on Amazon. I sort of took a gamble on this case being a solid case since it was so much less money than Apple's case, but I'm happy that I did. I highly recommend it, it fits well and feels good in my hand, so I say BUY IT!

Update: ESR contacted me after experiencing an issue with the item and sent me a replacement. Great customer service but I’m hoping their product holds up just as good.

Just received this today, it’s no doubt a China product but it’s a great case nonetheless. Exactly what I was looking for especially in the price range. Looking for something simplistic yet somewhat protective. This is a slim case so great for people that never/rarely drops their phone or handles them carelessly. The buttons are very responsive and the case feels great with the phone inside. Pictures in listing are accurate, would recommend.

....kommt dieses Cover daher, zumal Apple für das iPhone 12 nur (überteuerte) Silikonhüllen anbietet. ESR überzeugt mich mit einem Zubehörteil, das die Qualität der von mir - bei früheren iPhones - verwendeten original Hüllen deutlich übertrifft. Das Leder ist 100% echt und kein China-PU, schön genarbt und sehr gut verarbeitet. Meinem iPhone 12 Pro passt das Cover wie angegossen, alle Ausschnitte sind präzise und die Aluminiumtasten ermöglichen eine leichtgängige Bedienung. Angesichts der vielen offensichtlichen Fake-Bewertungen, die sich noch vor Erscheinung des neuen Phones mit Lob überschlagen haben, war ich zunächst skeptisch. Aber das Produkt ist erstklassig und für die gebotene Qualität auch günstig.

Update vom 04.01.21:

Die Hülle in Blau ist heute angekommen und was soll ich sagen/schreiben: Sie ist genauso gut verarbeitet wie die erste. Vielleicht hatte ich mit der einen einfach Pech, vielleicht gibt es in der Produktion Unterschiede, möglicherweise sollte ESR über das Thema Qualitätskontrolle nachdenken? Ich weiß es nicht zu sagen.

Da diese (blaue) Hülle sich auf demselben Qualitätsniveau befindet wie die erste, die makelbehaftete zweite allerdings dazwischenlag, erhöhe ich meine Bewertung auf gute 4 Sterne und empfehle die Hülle erneut.

Nun muss der Langzeittest zeigen, wie es um die Dauerhaltbarkeit bestellt ist.

Update vom 01.01.21:

Leider kann ich nur noch 3 Sterne vergeben, da die zweite von mir bestellte Hülle in der Qualitätsanmutung leider deutlich von der ersten abweicht. Das Leder auf der Rückseite ist nicht so schön verarbeitet, denn man sieht an zwei der vier Ecken schon jetzt keine Maserung (mehr). Dann sitzen die Metalltasten für lauter/leiser nicht so genau an den Stellen, an die sie gehören und sind auch etwas kürzer wie diejenigen der ersten Hülle. Alle drei Tasten ragen weiter heraus, schauen also weiter über den Rand der Hülle hinaus und der Ausschnitt für die Mute-Taste ist nicht (so) genau wie bei der ersten Hülle.

Die Hülle sende ich zurück.

Da ich hoffe, dass es sich um eine Ausnahme handelt und ich noch immer sehr überzeugt von ihr bin, habe ich mir eine weitere Hülle, dieses Mal in blau, bestellt.

Die Hülle ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet, das Leder macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck und umschließt das Telefon paßgenau.

- Die Öffnungen für den Mute-Knopf, das Mikrofon, den Lighting-Anschluß und den Lautsprecher sind präzise und absolut mittig,

- die aus Metall gefertigten Tasten (außen) sitzen exakt über den Tasten für Laut, Leise, An/Aus und lassen beim Bedienen ein deutliches Klickgeräusch vernehmen,

- die Rückseite des Telefons wird durch eine samtähnliche Einlage vor Kratzern geschützt,

- die Seitenränder der Hülle ragen gerade so weit über den Displayrand hinaus, dass dieses bei einem möglichen Sturz auf die Vorderseite geschützt ist,

- das Kameramodul wird durch die Aussparung in der Rückseite der Hülle, die etwas tiefer liegt geschützt.

Die Hülle ist insgesamt schmal gehalten, was dazu führt, dass das Telefon seine schlanke Form weitgehend beibehält - ein für mich wichtiges Kriterium. Wie es um den Fallschutz bestellt ist, kann ich (noch) nicht beurteilen. Insgesamt scheint diese iPhone-Generation ja schon in so einigen Tests bewiesen zu haben, dass sie robust ist, was mir bei meiner Priorisierung geholfen hat. Zudem trage ich das Telefon i.d.R. zusätzlich in einer Hülle Adore June (recht gut passend ist hier das Modell "Triangle" in der Größe für das Samsung S10+). Wenn ich es einmal kurz in die Hosentasche stecke, ist es zusätzlich durch ein Panzerglas aus gleichem Hause geschützt (siehe entsprechende Rezension).

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist (auch hier, analog zum ESR-Panzerglas) überdurchschnittlich. Ich bin so zufrieden mit dieser Hülle, dass ich mir eine zweite als Ersatz bestellt habe.

ESR werde ich von nun an im Auge behalten.

Cover di pelle ben fatta, materiali e qualità molto buona (per adesso) ottimo grip quando si tiene in mano il telefono.

Faccio la recensione dopo 2 giorni di utilizzo, ovviamente aggiornerò in caso qualcosa andasse storto.

Prezzo non eccessivo che se si considera che costa meno della metà di una cover di pelle Apple.
