I was impressed with the quality of this product. The chainsaw is well made and very sturdy. The hedge trimmer is heavier than I would like it to be, but workable. In order to get the right height you have to assemble extensions. My old electric pole chainsaw you just unscrewed the attachment and raise and lower to the height that you needed which to me was easier. The pole assembly is well made and not flimsy. It should last I hope.

This is a quality tool. I used both the hedger and saw on my first day and it performed well. It is heavy as I had read in other reviews, but it is manageable.

Bought the green works 40 volt 8” pole saw an hedger combo after much research seem to have the best reviews before u get into there really high dollar ones just spent 5 hours using it battery held up great only went down one notch the whole 5 hours pole saw I’d give a five not to heavy cut small limb like butter at 4 inch limbs it began to kick a little so 4 “ is about its max the 6” I think it could do be stretching it now the pole saw I said I’d rate a five an the battery BUT the hedger attachment not so much sprayed the blade good with WD 40 as I heard they were bad to jamb if u didn’t it’s heavy as hell fully extended an the 1” branches jamb so I’d say 1/4” bought all it do maybe a shoulder strap help the weight did like the adjustable head but due to weight an not cutting larger as advertised I’d give the hedger a3 . Also haven’t had trouble with pole saw leaking oil yet standing it up as recommended so over all wish I’d just bought the pole saw an shopped else where for a hedger

Love this item and can't believe how long the battery last.

Really works great and the 40 volt battery lasts longer than my 60 volt weed eater. The hedge trimmer can clear alot of thick brush

I used the pole saw a few times and have had a pretty positive experience with it. It's easy to handle, cuts well and the battery life is reasonable. The main issue is with the chain getting loose and you have to constantly tighten it, which a matter of loosening the bar and pulling on the bar (there is no screw adjustment for the chain as is found on most chain saws).

The reason for the single star is for the hedge trimmer and for the abysmal customer service. About 5 minutes into the second use, the hedge trimmer jammed and would no longer function. There are a number of other reviews that mention this issue; they are worth paying attention to - I wish I had. That there is apparently a design issue with these is bad enough, but most egregious is the support you get from Greenworks. On 6/23/21 I call customer service and was put in the queue and was, according to the recording, number 1 in the queue. It was an hour and 28 minutes before I got a representative. I was told the hedge trimmer would be covered under warranty but a replacement would not be available until the end of July and I would need to send an email reconfirming my address on or after 7/26/21 (why was this my responsibility?). I did that on 7/26/21 but received nothing back. I requested status on 7/30/21 but have received no response. Do I want to spend another 1 1/2 hours or more calling in to customer service again? Or do I just go buy another hedge trimmer?

If you think this looks like a good deal or a good price, don't believe it. It simply isn't worth the risk and the hassle. Get something more reliable from a company that stands behind the product.

I'm still surprised; I thought it would be a low-performing tool, but it's actually powerful, Fast Blade, Easy to use, and a firm grip. I wish they have some kind of giveaway, I have most of their popular tools, I need a cultivator, and a saw

The 2.0Ah battery also limits longer work sessions; if you have a larger property, a higher-capacity battery would likely be necessary. That said, for typical seasonal trimming and yard upkeep, it’s a capable and convenient tool that fits well within a cordless system.

La realidad es que corta perfecto los cetos, y ayuda mucho para las ramas altas de los árboles, llevo un mes de uso y la pila la verdad dura bastante, haces el trabajo con menos esfuerzo aprovechando el tiempo en otras cosas.
