Our Story
Founded in 2008 by New York Times Best Selling author Katie Davis Majors, Amazima Ministries serves communities in and around Jinja, Uganda by providing education for children, medical care, vocational training, and discipleship for women, children, and families.
Ivan's Story
Ivan was a student at The Amazima School from the day the doors opened. He came in a nervous and vulnerable child, with a father who had passed away, and he felt he didn’t belong. After being loved and supported by a nurturing staff, he began to open up, and eventually thrive.
