Dear Alumni,
NITK Surathkal (erstwhile KREC) has been fortunate to welcome and graduate nearly 40,000 students from all over the country as well as some from overseas, during the last six decades. All of you joined NITK Surathkal to pursue knowledge and with the dream of building a successful career in your formative years. The institute has played a significant role in shaping your personality, career, and success. You have contributed in many fields including academia, business, construction, defence, entertainment, finance, government, hospitality, literature, manufacturing and sports. We would like to reconnect with you, help you to strengthen your bond with the Institute, and leverage your experience for benefiting future generations of students. Your guidance and support will be greatly appreciated for strategic initiatives of mutual interest, such as world-class infrastructure, innovation ecosystem, high-impact projects, industry internships for students, named chair professorships, staff professional development programs, student festivals and alumni networking events. Hope you remember and cherish your time at KREC / NITK Surathkal. Since its inception in 1960, the Institute has grown in many ways while preserving its core strengths and traditions. It has gained the respect & trust of various stakeholders and is counted among the top 20 engineering institutes in India. We are particularly proud of our alumni, who have excelled in different fields, set high standards in their professional life, and impacted the lives of other people. You are most welcome to return to the alma mater, reconnect with old friends and teachers, re-live your hostel days and redefine your relation with the Institute.
