Photographer Of Life In The Biggest Little City

I’m a photographer that covers anything and everything Reno as I meander through life.

Although some photographers specialize in weddings, landscapes, or portraiture, I like to think I specialize in everything but.

My very first WordPress blog was created back in 2006, when I was covering the 2008 Presidential Election in Iowa as a citizen reporter blogger. Reporting on the many campaign stops for both Republican and Democratic candidates. It was an exciting time. I was shooting with a Nikon D80 and D200 and Nikkor 17-55mm and 70-200mm lenses, learning the technical aspects of digital photography as I went. A time I sorely miss. Both camera kits are long gone.

Currently I’m shooting with a Nikon Z8 and Nikon D850. Along with various Sigma and Nikkor lenses.

Today, in my old age, I cover anything that catches my eye, as I am seldom seen without a camera in hand when I venture out into the world. It’s the one thing that keeps me sane and alive.

For those who are interested, I’ve been published in Rolling Stone Magazine, Conde Nast Magazine, and US Weekly (in the early 2000’s).  I’ve also been published by the local online News outlet ThisIsReno.com, in print by the local Reno-Tahoe Visitors guide and in both the Reno Air Races and Reno Rodeo program guides.
