I joined July 28, 2024. I wasn’t sure what AllAuthor was about but I was desperate to get the books out there so I was climbing aboard every media outlet there was to get the word out – it’s such a good story.AllAuthor has gone above and beyond any expectations I had in my limited understanding of who you are and what you do. After the banners started going out, I was so thrilled. Then, when the first 10 book descriptions came out, they literally took my breath away, honestly, then the next month’s came out and I was beside myself at the level of professionalism that went into each of the 10 blurbs – that was one of the things I loved the most as I’ve not had anything of that caliber to market this series, ever.

I came across the website last summer and was intrigued by the chance to feature Tiger Cate’s book cover, which I’ve been told is quite good. To be honest, the book-writing world is rife with what I’ve heard people jokingly call “picks and shovels,” referring to the gold rush days. So my criteria for joining a group or site is whether it will supply me with the kind of “pick” or “shovel” I’m currently lacking. AllAuthor is one of many resources I use. Their mockup software is helpful for ad elements, etc., and I have a few books featured on the site at any given time. Exposure and marketing are full contact sports. We have to be everywhere. AllAuthor allows us to gain additional exposure to readers we might not otherwise touch, and that’s highly valuable.

It is one of the best sites I visit each night. There are always new authors coming on board and I view their profiles and those in like genre I follow. I have received great following and feedback. There are several who have shown an interest in joint book writing and emailing with greetings also on my Facebook page and personal email from my author website. It is a great way to find fast friends with readers and other authors.

I think it was the excellent services for new authors that first attracted me. I like how it takes some of the work off of me for doing things that aren’t writing.
