My Book Club. These are not in any specific order:
Lifeguard – James Patterson – This book is perfect for the plane ride or a lazy day on the beach.
Dear John – Nicolas Sparks – Sap at it’s best.
One Bullet Away – the Making of a Marine Officer – Nathaniel Flick – Perspective
Going Overboard : The Misadventures of a Military Wife – Sarah Smiley – Inspiration that I should write a book.
Your Best Life Now- Joel Osteen – I also have the CD’s – When you need a good dose of encouragement
The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella – I just know this will be made into a movie and I will be it’s biggest fan. FUNny, a little racy, but not trashy, different. I don’t read much fiction. If you don’t either, make this the ONE you read.

Subject: LOVE THE SITE
Hi Wendy- I stumbled on your site and I really love it. I think I followed a cinchouse link. Anyway- I too am a submariners wife and just started blogging. I was thinking how awesome your site looked and then read the “about me”. Now I know why!
In addition to beuig a SAHM, I have just started a web site. It has a small Navy/Sub pride section and I thought you might like one of the items. It is a Petite Submarine Cutting Board; https://www.thepaisleypalmetto.com/supecubo.html . that I had manufactured from a photo that I took of my husbands boat. (No worries of classified photo issues) We just auctioned one off as part of a grill basket in our SOWC Auction and I am getting really good reviews from it. Anyway- cool sub products are hard to come by, so I decided to make my own- just trying to get the word out. —
Have a great day! Aloha and Mahalo Y’all- Alecia H.
To whom it may concern at All Ahead Full,
During this Memorial Day weekend I thought you would be particularly interested to learn that two teenagers from Massachusetts have enlisted the help of AT&T with their national Cell Phones for Soldiers program. The non-profit initiative was established in 2004 to help U.S. military members serving overseas stay connected with their families. The program has raised more than $1 million and has sent more than 75,000 phone cards to troops overseas
By July 4th all AT&T wireless stores nationwide will be collecting phones for recycling. The initial rollout began yesterday in the Northeast starting in Boston, New York, Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia.
AT&T has built 70 calling centers for military members stationed in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan, to help soldiers stay in touch with their families. Since 2000, the company has donated nearly $8 million in free prepaid phone cards to military members.
You can find more information at:
https://www.att.com/gen/press-room?pid=7930
If you are interested in posting a picture along with your write up please let me know. I have exclusive pictures from yesterday’s NYC launch event as well as AT&T corporate photos that I’d be happy to share.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Kindly,
Laura
-on behalf of AT&T
Hi Wendy! Well, I just realized that I sent my message to the ‘site description’ part of your site. It goes without saying that I’m the one who tosses the instructions away and give it a go on my own….this is where it leads me. Erroneous postings and crooked furniture with alot of ‘extra’ parts left over.
Anyway, I just wanted to compliment you on your wonderful website. It’s fun, well written, the photos are beautiful and entertaining in its entirety. Thank you for adding my website to your blog list – that is quite flattering. Keep up the good work!
Christine,
Thank you for taking the time to leave me a comment! I love your travel blog! It lets me go abroad from my computer chair. ha!
🙂
Laura,
I found your comment in the Spam filter. Something I never check, but just happen to stumble onto yesterday. I’ve sent you an email to discuss further. Thanks for the comment. I plan on posting a banner promoting Cell Phones for Soldiers in the near future.
