A Little More Ground

I thought for a while about naming this blog something to do with being in the middle of things. I sometimes feel that I’m in the middle of things. I’m likely in the middle of my life. All sorts of things are going on around me but all the names I thought up were already taken.

I thought for a bit about naming this place with an indication that I sometimes feel like I’m outside the realm of normal life; that things are overwhelming. I live with my significant other and some children and some non-human beings. I have a full time job. I go to school. These are enough things to fill up my time more than completely and leave me twitching. What? What? That’s just too much. Again the names I thought up were already taken.

I picked another name. This name gives me more freedom to do what I want with this blog. Namely, amuse myself and maybe a few of my friends in a semi-coherent manner.

I think this is serendipitous.
