Nice to meet you Aligaeta. I love your blog… I can sooo relate to your mind just jumping around from idea to idea and thing to thing and all that multi-tasking. It sounds like me! I am off to a walk to try and calm down, and clear my mind. I’ll be back later, Aligaeta!

Welcome fishesweb! Are you a Pisces too? May I suggest as a crafter and multi-tasker you read https://aligaeta.wordpress.com/2011/01/06/christmas-and-then-what/
To understand my blog I suggest you read the posts from the oldest forward, I hate the boring my advid readers with recaps as to whose who. I refer to the ‘freshie’, Baba, my partner, his children, and my other children, including my gypsy son. Reading from the oldest to the newest will give you a better picture of their importance and why I call them what I do. Ha… enjoy if your up to the task. Happy to have your comments as you go along.

    Yay…. Mom’s writing

  5. I enjoyed reading your blog. I am a mother of 4 kids too, one from a prior marriage, another from my husband and two step-daughters. I haven’t read too many blogs with older kids and blended families so it’s refreshing to read yours. I am navigating the troubled waters of adolescence as my step-daughter just turned 15 and the other one turns 13 in 2 weeks! Yikes. I’ll check in again and see how the freshie is doing. Good luck on your destination, but the journey is half the fun!

Welcome lifewellblended! Yes, “the journey is half the fun!” I have to get back to your blog as I so enjoyed the first post of yours that I read this morning. As I say, this journey of mine is a trip! Nice to have you along for the ride.

Nice to meet you Aligaeta, I left a comment in your post on ADHD of a couple of days ago. I guess I should have come here first. After a life as a single mom for seven years I remarried and gained grown step children, one daughter and two stepsons. They are more trouble than my own as mine are responsible grown men and holding good jobs. My step daughter and I have our problems and she stopped talking to me for a whole year. She manipulates her father with her love. Enough of that. I havn’t posted much about my own journey through life but my next post will be on thoughts gathered from a devotion. I hope you’ll stop by. Clar

Welcome Clar! I am surprised your comment on my ADHD post only arrived today. Happy to see your comment both here or there. The children as they grow into adulthood and the blending of families has been a great inspiration for my posts along with surviving as a single parent and the Assurance I felt along my journey knowing I wasn’t alone but carried. I hope you continue to enjoy my post : )

Rustin’s comment above is a quote from my own comment of Feb 27. When I looked up his web site it was in no relation to me. Please delete it. Thank you, Clar
