Born in 1952 in Piraeus (Greece), studied painting in Athens and Rome, and living in a farm in the countryside, 35 klms outside of Athens, I enjoy the pleasure of creativiness, not believing that I’m making something very important.
I’m not drawing every day, but I’m thinking and “wondering” every single moment, I prefer to think of myself as a painter ruther than as an artist, because I believe that “If Artists Ruled the World, the World Would be Unhappy”!
My best regards, ALEXANDER

It’s a great honor for me!
Maurice’s sentiment is my own. Your tones are often his too. Your use of light is superb. I am drawn to the softness with which you see. The paintings are beautiful. “Eleiana” reminds me of the self-portraits of Frida Kahlo in the direct way in which she faced the viewer. The contrasting tones are almost startling as were her own. Straightforward, but secretive too. Do you see that?
The senator has a phallic nose … appropriately so.
Really “on the spot” your kind comments
Thanks a lot!
So long,
ALEXANDER
I’m looking forward to roam and explore your blog.
Thanks a lot!
