My name is Samar Moqadasi, and I have a passion for teaching and learning. I hold a PhD in designing and making potential anti-cancer drugs from Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland. After graduation with my PhD, I moved to Canada. In Canada, my passion for teaching and learning made me switch from research to a rewarding teaching career in academia and education. I enjoy transferring my knowledge and experience in chemistry and science to the young students and help them to find their path towards achieving their academic goals. My passion for learning made me pursue a Bachelor of Education from Thompson Rivers University where I previously had the pleasure of teaching first and second year chemistry courses to the undergraduate students.
Apart from the professional life, I enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, playing badminton, and hiking and love to spend some time on being creative in baking!
