I have been telling people that I am very thrilled about 2022. I understand that it is just a new time zone in our lives but I am excited.

I am not surrounding myself with negativity, laziness, or any pessimistic vibe whatsoever.

We are two weeks into the new year 2022 and I have already accomplished more than I have done in few months of last year. It’s a thrill…BELIEVE ME!

I decided to be more involved with the most regular things a person can do on daily bases.

I am socializing in person more, and through social media apps, I went over my shopping list and finally bought myself nice things rather than buying for others. I did my first adventure/hike for the year, visited a museum, tried a new seafood meal, started reading a new book, changed my hair color, and discovered a new music playlist for my workouts at the gym.. I still have more..

I wanted to go OUT and grab a bunch of POSITIVITY.

I previously read about the phone’s contact list and how to change the names on your phone for something sweet, funny or embarrassing..

I decided to join this category of people and call my fiancé a cute name as well. I was thinking of something that should spot the holidays..

I decided to call him Santa and add the Christmas tree emoji and a couple of gift boxes. This should be an enough resemblance to the holidays and expect lots of presents as well.

I assumed that I was a picky eater until I noticed that I just like random plates. I cant eat just simply one type of food. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean I need different menus in front of me, but add a good bowl of green salad, or flavored bread on the side. Then I also noticed that when I’m doing the cooking, I like to mix up new recipes or ingredients together and come p with new flavors. So, I started to realize that the people around me are the picky eaters and are not into anything that is not ordinary standard very common meal we regularly eat.

So, a salad bowl of mixed greens and cherry tomato with mustered and honey mixture is an option I would recommend. Rocca, avocados with pineapples, or beans and fresh oranges and squeezed orange juice as a dressing are another delicious quick recipes.

I am very curious with what people name their partners or parents on their phone contact list. You see, people usually name their husbands cute pet names or something they fantasize about or perhaps something that resembles them. Most of the times these cute names turn into something embarrassing or just too private.

I named by husband a cookie with an emoji. I assumed it would be cute, we both love cookies, its cute out loud and not embarrassing if someone catches the name when he rings… I think.. right?

Apparently my older married sister is a little more advanced. She now uses her feelings to type out her husband’s name. Usually it is hubby, or babe, blah bah. Recently I noticed the change, she actually named him “the father of my son, not my love”. That was a new level for me that I hadn’t noticed before. I guess its understandable..

I have friends who call their parents government, or FBI or any of that sort. You know…given that they are allowed to set rules and curfews and such. Also, VERY CREATIVE!

Currently, we are struggling in my country with the type of weather we have been encountering. It is not freezing cold, raining, showering, no storms, and not even close to snowing. WHAT IS IT!

With the weather instability, we are sitting in a blender with sunny days mixed with showers and ice cold night. Next morning, we get some early rain drops, afternoon sunrises and turns the sky into an autumn yellow color, and at night we get our warm blankets, shut the windows and make a fake kitchen bonfire with an old pan my mom hates but won’t throw away! Oh! ..and no warm cup of hot chocolate and cubes of marshmallow.

The conclusion of this short tell.. We are all using extra tissues these days..

I met a new person this week. She was very lovely, social and a good talker. We talked and went out for lunch. I met her through another friend right after we finished shopping for a gathering we all had. We had a common taste in clothes, ideas and all. And she looked very neat and colorful. I asked what she did that day and she referred to herself as an artist. Very interesting right? She elaborated more on the colors she likes and uses, the brushes, and the harmony of creating new finishes for the artwork.

Her excitement was very fulfilling. She invited me to her workplace, and I went.

Little did I know this was a different art!

I had realized that she was an artist but of nails art. Apparently her sharp looks and neat colorful designed nails were her field of art/work.

We pass by many nails places on regular basis, but I honestly never imagined it would be a big business if you have the talent and skill. Her place was a real art. She did not fail the description of her work. Artistic walls, painting, mirrors, the furniture and even the coffee mugs, her business card, and her costumers joyful smiles. She had it all.

I realized she was an ARTIST of nails.

Lets not undermined how strongly accurate these nail art people have to be with tiny brushes and creating new color combinations/designs.

Mainly I have been trying to convince my husband to start drinking coffee or anything that is hot since we started dating ..

I have tried regular tea, Earl tea, chamomile, different herbs out there, and regular coffee, and (all flavors).

So, I started with baby steps and actually treated him like a child. I bought him a bag of mixed candy with a box of instant hot chocolate pack. This was a few months ago. Obviously during this time I haven’t asked him about it so he doesn’t start to perceive me as a nagging wife, and then rejects this whole approach.

Then, a month ago I was on a regular visit at my in-law’s home and I opened a kitchen cabinet and discovered he had given the whole bag to them. I should’ve had a rage storm on him but held it in. It wasn’t a way to pull him in my safe drinking bubble.

So, I am obviously a coffee lover and all that comes along with this wintery weather. What do I do next? – I thought to myself …

One night a week at a time, I would make a nice smelling cup of Cappuccino, or a bursting fresh smell of a mint leaf in a good cup of tea. And guess what? He joined the club. His secret was two extra teaspoons of sugar and that man was wrapped around the whole coffee bar at home..

And out of sudden it starts to rain

Today was the first time it actually rains where I live. It just happened! No dog barks, no storm, no rain drops knocking on my glass window and no sound drifts of cars.

I woke up this morning and couldn’t believe my eyes! I means literally couldn’t believe this early weather.

I fell asleep in the most summer type pajama I had, and woke up to this! Now I know what they mean when they its a different world.

Regardless of my words about the morning weather, I actually admire this view, and how my day is going so far. Got a little wet, so?!
