After you’ve edited your book it’s time to get rid of any lurking gremlins. This service is the final review of your manuscript before you get it formatted and out into the world, and includes:

Finding spelling and grammatical errors.

Checking for correct usage of capitalisation, hyphenation and formatting according to style choices of the author.

Looking for repetition where not needed.

Checking for consistency in character names, appearance, and actions.

Verifying consistent use of places, place names, and the use of relevant language standards according to the style and language choices of the author.

Finding inconsistencies in layout, such as font or text size and colour, and also pointing out use of tabs and other stylistic choices that could be problematic when you create your epubs and pdf files.

Confirming that any links in the manuscript work.

I use Microsoft Word Track Changes for markup of suggested changes to text for you to accept or reject.
