Bio
My name is Masoud Ataei, and I am passionate about advancing safe control systems, particularly in the field of autonomous robotics. I am currently working on an innovative project to develop a safe control framework for autonomous vehicles. This project incorporates probabilistic safe control framework alongside a machine learning-based approach to safe navigation in uncertain environment.
I am also enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and collaborating on projects at the intersection of control theory, robotics, and machine learning.

- Developed and analyzed uncertainty quantification techniques for Bayesian and probabilistic models, integrating a control barrier function (CBF) to ensure safe operations of ground vehicles.
- Designed goal navigation and state estimation model using Spatial Transformation Networks.

- Enhanced DCS and SCADA software by optimizing performance, adding hardware health logs, and integrating HART commands.
- Developed and tested a three-phase energy meter for industrial applications.
- Engineered and led manufacturing of custom-designed gas process unit laboratories featuring MFCs, back-pressure controllers, transmitters, and sensors for industrial use.
- Designed and produced DC motor controllers and brushless motor controller boards for medical saws and drills.
- Designed electrical circuits for a hybrid vehicle competing in the Iranian Machine Design competition.
