Alexey Brodkin is a Senior Engineering Manager at Synopsys, where he drives development of low-level run-time software for ARC processors. Alexey has been working with embedded systems for years starting from 8-bit MCUs and gradually shifting to high-performance multi-core 32- & 64-bit CPUs. He is the ARC architecture custodian at U-Boot bootloader, the co-maintainer of Linux kernel port for ARC, as well as a casual contributor to some other open source projects that he uses in his professional affairs. Today, with the increased complexity of deeply embedded systems, which require the use of more complicated software, Alexey applies his knowledge and experience with software tools and Linux development to the Zephyr RTOS.
David Brown is a member of the Linaro Vertical Technologies Group, and has worked on the Linux kernel, with a focus on security for a number of years. Recently, he has been focusing on security as it relates to IoT and embedded devices, including focusing on secure booting, and secure network communications. He is currently the Security Chair for the Zephyr Project, and a maintainer for the MCUboot secure bootloader.
David Leach has been a software engineer through various technology fields for over 35 years. He joined Freescale Semiconductors (now NXP Semiconductors) in 2015 as a software architect to help lead connectivity and various standards engagements. For the last several years, he has been participating in NXP’s open-source software activities and is currently leading the MCU Open-Source Software team in the Security & Connectivity Business Line. David serves as one of NXP’s Zephyr Technical Steering Committee members and he represents NXP on Zephyr’s Governing Board.
John is Global Ecosystem Lead at Product Enablement & Ecosystem in the Embedded Processing Products Group of Renesas Electronics.
He has over thirty years of business experience in software, electronics and semiconductor industries. He joined Dialog Semiconductor as a Program Manager in 2015, which Renesas acquired in 2021. Previously was Product Development Director at Citrix, CEO at Analogies, served for about 7 years at Intel in several engineering, marketing and management roles, and as Business Development Manager in GiGA and Synergy Systems.
Tony Crupi is the Senior Director of Field Engineering at Wind River, where he leads a top-performing team delivering mission-critical solutions to leading enterprise, industrial, medical, telecom, and financial organizations across the Americas and EMEA.
With over three decades of leadership in the open source community, Tony brings extensive expertise in embedded real-time systems and next-generation cloud-native technologies. He was there for the initial release of Zephyr into the open source ecosystem and has remained actively engaged ever since.
Tony is thrilled to serve as a governing board member of the Zephyr Project. He is deeply committed to driving innovation, advancing global adoption of Zephyr, and shaping the future of embedded and edge computing through transformative technologies.
Wojciech Bober is a Technical Product Manager for Nordic Connect SDK. He has over 15 years of experience in embedded software development that spans different domains (academia, startups, and industry) and roles (from individual contributor to managerial).
