This list raises the interesting question - what was the first word you listed?

Now, it appears that this question may be easier for some Wordies to answer than for others. Because if, like me, you were a lazy slob back in the early days, your first list may be your default catchall list and have more than 3,000 words in it. It used to be that one could list one's words in the order added; now it seems that one can only list them in the reverse order added. Which means I would have to scroll through 30+ screens to get to my very first word. Which I am not interested enough to do.

But maybe there is another way? Any hints?

I'm sure you used to be able to view a given Wordnik's activity, i.e. everything they've done, listing, commenting, favouriting, tagging etc., and click through back to the very beginning. But now I can't find it.

The first list I cared about was "fibrous words", and the first word I commented on (with a citation) was ilex, but I can't figure out what me very first word was, perhaps inveigle.

There is an easier way, sionnach. For a list with more than 100 words, divide the number of words on the list by 100, add one to the part to the left of the decimal, and append it to the list URL:

I made my first word list sometime in the 1970s. Chromonyms, the oldest list I have good records of, was started in the early 1980s, although it wasn't my first Wordie/Wordnik list. Panvocalic was my first word.

I actually remember the word that led me here. I'd been to a dinner party with some friends--after a few drinks, we got out the compact OED to look up the etymology of the word gin and saw that it had a funny meaning about traps. The next day, I thought I'd see whether the internet could provide me with any more insight--I saw the comments on gin (and the names of the lists), and I was hooked. Looking at the word again just now, I note that it can be a coal-mining term, that one of the definitions has the word specifically in it, and that it can also be a instrument of torture.

My first list with any kind of "theme" was Bad Guys, although like sionnach, my actual first list was a catch-all of favorite words. It's been changed many times since then so it doesn't actually exist anymore.

Can't even begin to figure out what my first word here was.

I discovered Wordie while browsing the "also on" drop-down list on Librarything. The first word I listed, and still one of my favourites, was donkeyman, which I'd found in a novel not long before. My second might have been poopyhead.
