Quality Models
TIOBE is a strong believer in code quality standards and models. We use our expertise and analysis of more than 1 billion lines of software code to define models and standards, together with peers in the industry. We have defined the following market standards:
- TIOBE Quality Indicator: a code quality model based on ISO/IEC 25010 to measure software quality with emphasis on reliability, maintainability and security. This indicator is used by more than 5,000 industrial software projects world wide.
- Together with TÜViT, TIOBE has developed the TIOBE TÜViT Trusted Product Maintainability ISO/IEC 25010 Quality Model to measure maintainability. This includes an optional formal certification by TÜViT.
