The EFR32MG24 Wireless SoCs are ideal for mesh IoT wireless connectivity using Matter, OpenThread and Zigbee protocols for smart home, lighting, and building automation products. With key features like high performance 2.4 GHz RF, low current consumption, an AI/ML hardware accelerator and Secure Vault™, IoT device makers can create the smart, robust, and energy-efficient products that are secure from remote and local cyber-attacks. An ARM Cortex®-M33 running up to 78 MHz and up to 1.5 MB of Flash and 256 kB of RAM provides resources for demanding applications while leaving room for future growth. Target applications include gateways and hubs, sensors, switches, door locks, LED lighting, luminaires, location services, predictive maintenance, glass break detection, wake-word detection, and more.

The EFR32MG29 wireless SoC is ideal for low power, small form factor devices that benefit from advanced security and high memory. With key features like high performance 2.4 GHz RF, low current consumption and Secure Vault™ High, IoT device makers can create smart, robust, and energy-efficient products that are secure from remote and local cyber-attacks. In addition, 1024 kB of Flash and 256 kB of RAM ensures there is enough memory for Zigbee and multiprotocol applications. Furthermore, DCDC boost enables operation at 1.2 Volts and allows support for multiple battery chemistries.

The SiMG301 SoC family belongs to our next generation Series 3 platform that further extends our leadership in ultra-low power IoT SoCs and modules. Series 3 brings new levels of compute, security, RF performance, and power efficiency that are necessary to address emerging IoT markets. The SiMG301 is purpose built for line powered smart devices including LED lighting, plugs and switches.
The multi-core device has an ARM® Cortex®-M33 running up to 150 MHz for application development and dedicated cores for the radio and security engine. Our Series 3 Secure Vault™ has been certified for PSA Certified Level 4, ensuring the highest level of attack resistance from PSA Certified, protecting both the data and the device. Memory options of up to 4 MB Flash and 512 kB RAM allow for more demanding applications including support for our concurrent multiprotocol (CMP) that can run both Zigbee and Matter over Thread at the same time on a single device, simplifying SKU management for the product manufacturer and ease of use for the end user.
Optimized for LED lighting applications, select SiMG301 devices integrate key features including a PIXELRZ single wire communication interface for LED controller ICs as well as a LED pre-driver that enables low level and consistent dimming, resulting in a simplified design, reduced BOM, and lower product cost.
