Coordination Function
Part of our function is to act as a coordination centre for the RIPE community. As part of this, we perform a variety of activities. These include:
- Coordination of meetings and events
- Facilitation of Internet policy development
- Operation of one of the Internet's 13 root name servers
- Provision of numerous training courses
We also work with the technical community and various organisations on what can be termed "Internet governance".
