The link to check for plugin security updates has been removed from the addon manager as Firefox automatically checks for plugin updates

Changes for web developers

Firefox fails to log into Firefox Accounts or Sync if browser is set to "Never Remember History"

Due to an Apple touch bar bug, Firefox on recent MacBook Pro may crash when open for long periods or crash after resuming from sleep. Apple reports to have a fix for this in the currently unreleased OS X 10.12.3
