I ensure that our special interest groups flourish and I develop strategy for our Community and External Engagement Teams. 
 
I have an educational background in international relations and business administration. Prior to working with the Internet Society, I spent the earlier part of my career with the United Nations Internet Governance Forum (IGF). My biggest area of interest is the socioeconomic impact the Internet brings to rural or isolated communities and how it empowers individuals and opens new opportunities that were not possible before.

When I am not guiding or digging into our work  you can find me logging endless miles on my bicycles in the humidity of Northern Virginia or (dreaming these days of) shredding on my skis in the Alps or Canadian Rockies.
